Mum, wife, interior designer and photographer living in spectacular Southern Alps on New Zealand's South Island. Spring is here and I’m nervous to see how my dahlias go again. I decided to leave them in the ground - could be a good thing since we’ve had such a mild & dry winter - but remains to be seen if that was actually a good decision 😬🤞🏼 Just excited to select a few new summer bulbs/plants and get planting again. (Collab) The entry into our bedroom and a favourite little corner at home 🤍 One of the things I never compromise on when renovating is solid core doors & quality door hardware, and I still absolutely love our brass hardware from @iver_life.
It’s always challenging when renovating or building to manage a strict budget, but since you touch and use your doors every single day, it’s an area that’s worth spending a little bit more money on, in my opinion. You can really feel the difference between cheaper doors & hardware, vs higher quality, but also particularly helpful to reduce noise transfer in a smaller home.
We’ve used Iver’s Sarlat levers in Signature Brass, and aside from the gorgeous solid feel and beautiful brass patina, I also love the discreet privacy latch which is located ON the door rose, rather than a separate & very obvious latch. Glad we put these on some of our doors for when I need to lock the kids out of our room for some peace and quiet! #gifted #iverlife #doorhardware #iver_life #sisalcarpet #soanebritain #wainscoting #boardandbatten
